Hire Purchase loan supports successful business through COVID-19 lockdown

Several TVAF clients return to us as their business grows or their circumstances change. Our Essex-based road marking client needed to purchase a second-hand road sweeper for £53,000 to allow them to clear up after they’ve put white lines and road markings on the motorways.

A lot of their contracts were put on hold due to the COVID-19 lockdown and the new equipment was needed to allow them to deliver their contractual obligations (working on behalf of the Highways Agency). TVAF set up a four-year Hire Purchase loan allowing the client to manage their cashflow effectively, which had been reduced during the recent lockdown. As their staff are now returning from Furlough, there was an increased amount of cashflow leaving the business, without the funds coming in. Securing asset finance through TVAF via a Hire Purchase loan took the pressure off this successful business, which had been impacted by COVID-19.
