At Thames Valley Asset Finance we understand that a large driving force behind the growth of many businesses is the equipment they’re using.
That’s why it’s so important to ensure that no matter what size your business is or what stage of growth you are in, you have easy and quick access to the assets you need. To help fund those expensive purchases, we offer 4 kinds of asset finance, each designed to suit different business needs. Here’s a quick overview of each:
A hire purchase allows you to spread the cost of your new asset into easy to afford payments, all while using it in your business. Typically you will need to pay a deposit at the beginning, followed by a series of monthly payments that suit you. Once you’ve finished paying the instalments, the asset is yours. A lease purchase is similar to a hire purchase agreement, but gives you a bit more control. The agreement we put in place gives a structured overview of repayment profiles, including deposit, repayment schedule and lump sum payment at the end of the agreement. To find out more, click here.
In this arrangement, your asset will appear as an asset on the balance sheet, without the commitment of long term ownership. Instead you rent the asset for a set amount of time for a monthly fee, which includes VAT. At the end of which you can extend the payments, pay a lump sum or give the asset back. This is where you have already bought the asset, but you want to unlock some of its value as cash for your business. You can easily sell the asset back to us to unlock its cash value, while still continuing to use it, and just pay a much smaller monthly repayment. To find out more, click here.
